An Invitation to Organizations - Join Us:
The Coalition 4 Fibromyalgia is extending an open invitation to other NEIDs patient advocacy 501(c)(3) organizations to join. Research organizations and other businesses that support and/or share a similar vision and mission, or otherwise cater to the needs of Fibromyalgia and other NEIDs communities,
are invited to become associate members.
As a member of Coalition 4 Fibromyalgia you will become part of a coalition of organizations that will:
Advocate for a national strategy for Fibromyalgia
Lobby for the government and private funds to support needed research
Promote research to advance the understanding of the biological mechanisms of Fibromyalgia and to identify effective approaches for diagnosis and treatment
Support "centers of excellence" that bring together targeted research, clinical trials, patient care and physician education to solve the challenges of Fibromyalgia
Improve patient care by developing a national provider network and by ensuring that physicians have access to the latest knowledge on ME/CFS, including how to diagnosis and treat it
Support patients and their caregivers through a network of strong local organizations
Educate the public about the true nature of this disease
We hope you will join in this nationwide effort to finally make a change for patients suffering from Fibromyalgia. It is up to us to effectively solve the community’s challenges and to take ownership of the future by working as a team to improve the quality of life of every patient with Fibromyalgia.
